BUD SPENCER: LA VITA DEL GIGANTE BUONO
Bud Spencer è lo pseudonimo di Carlo Pedersoli.
Carlo Pedersoli nasce a Napoli il 31 ottobre 1929 e muore a Roma il 27 giugno 2016.
Scopre fin da piccolo la sua prima grande passione: il nuoto. Diventa il primo italiano a nuotare i cento metri in stile libero sotto il minuto. Gareggia nella nazionale italiana di nuoto in vari campionati e anche alle Olimpiadi di Melbourne nel 1954 e poi di Roma nel 1960.
Sposa Maria Amato, da cui ha due figli, e nel 1967 accetta di recitare nel film Dio perdona… io no!
In questo film conosce Mario Girotti, con cui forma la solida coppia dei western all’italiana.
Viene consigliato sia a Carlo Pedersoli sia a Mario Girotti di cambiare nome per raggiungere un successo internazionale: Girotti sceglie il nome Terence Hill, mentre Pedersoli unisce il diminutivo della birra Budweiser all’omaggio dell’attore Spencer Tracy.
Il successo arriva, non solo in Italia ma anche all’estero.
Moltissime sono state le sue passioni: il volo, la musica, il cibo, la filosofia, …
